Shared foundation: the same cast, different reading scope

Basic and Plus both use deterministic traditional casting rules and retrieve classical passages from fixed source data. AI neither chooses nor changes the hexagram, and it cannot rewrite the fixed priority among the primary hexagram, changing lines, and resulting hexagram. Switching language presents aligned content from the same cast; it does not cast again.

Plus is designed to offer more question scopes, the full changing-line structure, and personalisation. It does not provide a “better” or “more accurate” hexagram. No plan should use fear, fixed-fate claims, or an unfavourable cast to pressure someone into upgrading.

Basic: a complete primary-hexagram reading available now

Basic requires no login or payment and uses the fixed “Make a decision” and “Any time” question settings. Each reading focuses on the primary hexagram as a whole and provides classical text plus pre-written, aligned Chinese and English sections for Core Meaning, In Plain Words, Reflection, and Practice. Casting does not make a live language-model call.

Each browser profile can currently make three Basic castings per Hong Kong calendar day. Every new casting uses one allowance; the site does not add another restriction because the scope or question is repeated. The journal keeps only the latest five entries in this browser’s local storage; it is not permanent, account-backed, or synchronised across devices.

Plus: a testable product direction, not a public launch

The Plus preview is used to validate the full three-coin reading flow. It can accept different life areas and time frames or a custom question, apply fixed rules to the primary hexagram, changing lines, and resulting hexagram, and use one generation to create all four personalised sections in aligned Chinese and English.

This preview exists only for local development and testing. It does not mean a public Plus service has launched. Production entitlement, public sign-up, and payment entry points do not yet exist, so a Plus interface or example should not be understood as a service that can currently be purchased or relied upon.

Journal, accounts, and privacy: a target is not the current state

The Basic journal is browser-local data. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or moving to another device may make entries unavailable, and the site does not currently synchronise them to an account.

A persistent cross-device journal after sign-in is a planned direction for Plus, but the account, retention, deletion, export, and privacy flows are not complete. Custom questions may contain sensitive information; before launch, the product must explain how that data is used and stored and what control the user has.

What remains before a public launch?

Plus still requires dependable entitlement and sessions, atomic and retry-safe quota handling, a persistent journal, privacy and legal review, and complete arrangements for sign-in, payment, pricing, refunds, and support. There is currently no checkout, announced price, or launch date.

For now, the dependable offer is the Basic feature set described above. Plus content documents validated preview capabilities and product direction only. At launch, actual features, allowances, pricing, and data terms should be taken from the version clearly published at that time.
